Project Sharing Two (2) Meals
Evangelist Sallie L. Shuler: Coordinator
There are many people today who are hungry and thirsty for both spiritual and natural food and drink! You will find in the Gospels of St. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John an accounting where Jesus taught multitudes of people about love, repentance, and the kingdom of God.
Jesus’ first words to His disciples were to repent of their sins and turn to God. His core message was the Kingdom of God; stating there would be a judgment that would separate the good from the bad.
Large crowds followed Jesus everywhere He went with His Apostles. Jesus taught them God’s Will at this point--and throughout his ministry. His goal in attracting people was not to gain a following because of His popularity, but to teach and train a group of people who would eventually change the world. Jesus TAUGHT... notice what He did first (TAUGHT), and second, He FED the people. This shows concern for both soul and body. At one juncture it was late in the evening, and someone suggested they send the people away to buy food. However, Jesus had compassion on them and took a little lad’s donated lunch of two fish and five barley loaves of bread and fed a multitude of 5,000. Jesus did not send them away hungry after feeding them spiritually, He fed them nutrition for their bodies. He shared TWO MEALS!!
We see so many homeless and hungry people on the street corners carrying signs with scribbled messages saying, “HOMELESS & HUNGRY.” Are we moving enough with compassion to Share Two (2) Meals, or do we pass them by and go our way?
Project Share Two (2) Meals is an opportunity to SHARE GOD’S WORD to others on the street and in our communities who need to be fed both spiritually and naturally. We will be sharing the GOSPEL while sharing a MEAL!!
This project will take place once a month the 4th Saturdays at Victory Temple Church of Creative Language, 3272 Jeffersonville Road, Macon, GA. 31217. The time and date for the first event is 8:AM, Saturday May 31, 2025.
Please join us as we seek to harvest souls for the Kingdom of GOD!
Yours 4 Him,

The Roman’s Road to Salvation
The Roman’s Road to Salvation is a systematic approach to explaining the essential truths of the Christian faith, using verses from the book of Romans in the New Testament. This method outlines why we need salvation, how God provides it, and the results of accepting this gift. Here’s a detailed exploration based on insights from popular Bible interpretations.
Understanding the Need for Salvation
The journey along the Roman’s Road begins with acknowledging human sinfulness. Romans 3:23 states, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” This verse highlights the universal nature of sin, emphasizing that everyone has failed to meet God’s standards. According to Romans 3:10-12, no one is righteous, and all have turned away from God.
The Consequences of Sin
The next step on this road addresses the consequences of Sin. Romans 6:23a declares, “For the wages of sin is death.” This isn’t just referring to physical death but also to spiritual death and eternal separation from God. Understanding this consequence underscores the gravity of sin and the need for a Savior.
God’s Provision for Salvation
Roman’s 5:8 brings hope into this dire situation: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This verse explains God’s love compelled Him to send His Son, Jesus Christ to die for humanity’s sins. This act of sacrifice is central to the Christian faith, showing that salvation is a gift from God, not something that can be earned through human effort.
Receiving Salvation
Salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 clarifies this process. “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord; and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” This passage highlights the importance of both internal belief and external confession in the salvation experience.
The Results of Salvation
Finally, the Roman Road explains the benefits of accepting salvation. Roman 5:1 states, “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” This means that believers are no longer condemned for their sins. Romans 8:1 reinforces this: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,”
Additionally, Romans 8:38-39 assures believers of their security in God’s love: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
A Prayer for Salvation
For those ready to embark on this journey, a simple prayer can express their faith in Jesus Christ. While the words themselves do not save, they can help articulate a sincere commitment to follow Christ. A typical Prayer might be: “Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. With your help, I place my trust in you for salvation.
Roman’s Road Conclusion
The Roman’s Road to Salvation offers a clear concise way to understand and share the Gospel by following these steps, individuals can recognize their need for a savior, understand God’s provision through Jesus Christ, and embrace the transformative results of salvation. This method not only facilitates personal reflection but also serves as a powerful tool for evangelism.
Bible Verses About Salvation
- Ephesians 2:8-9: For by Grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.
- Titus 3:5: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
- Acts 4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
- John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
